Does the money I receive from a reverse mortgage affect my Social Security or Medicare benefits?
Benefits from non-need based programs such as regular Social Security and Medicare should not be affected because you are not earning income. Any needs-based income programs in which you participate may be affected such as SSI or Medicaid.
